How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
Bigcapital Garage Doors does not have its own repair staff. When you reach out, we connect you with an independent provider in our network. That provider is a local business. They run their own schedule and set their own prices.
So the person you speak with is the provider, not Bigcapital Garage Doors. Any agreement about the work is between you and them.
What the Provider Will Ask You
Expect a few simple questions. Have these ready:
- What is the door doing? Stuck, loud, crooked, or off the track?
- Did you hear a loud bang? That can mean a broken spring.
- Is the door open or closed right now?
- How old is the door and the opener?
- What is your address?
Photos can help. So can the make of the opener. If you can find a model number on the motor unit, jot it down.
Stay Safe First
If the door is stuck, stay calm. Do not try to lift a heavy door by hand. Springs hold a lot of force. Keep kids and pets away from the door and the tracks. Then reach out to a provider and let them take a look.
Questions to Ask a Provider
- Are you licensed and insured where I live?
- Can you give me a written quote before work starts?
- What does the quote include? Parts? Labor?
- Do you offer a warranty on parts and work?
- Can you work around my schedule?
- Do you handle emergency garage service if a storm hits?
Costs vary by job. Typical U.S. ranges for repairs and new doors are wide. Get a written quote before you say yes.
The Choice Is Yours
You can say no. You can ask for a second opinion. A good provider will not rush you. Take a moment to read the quote and ask about anything that seems unclear.
